Parkinson's - Types? There's more than one??
Not all Parkinson's is the same — and that surprises most people. There are actually three types, each with their own causes and cast of symptoms. It all comes down to where in the brain things go wrong.
The most common form affects a region called the substantia nigra, where dopamine — your brain's movement Wi-Fi — is produced. When those cells die, movement suffers. Slowly and progressively.
